Pinot Noir "Les Cailloutis" 2015 - Domaine des Landions, AOC Neuchâtel, Switzerland
Differential: "Les Cailloutis" is a refined and elegant Pinot Noir from the prestigious communes of Vaumarcus and Cortaillod. It stands out for its careful 18-month period (20% in new oak barrels), which gives it subtle notes of wood and spices, while preserving the purest essence and delicate fruit of the variety.
Content: 2015 vintage red wine (13.5% vol.) made entirely from the Pinot Noir grape variety, under the prestigious AOC Neuchâtel appellation of origin in Switzerland. It presents a perfect harmony between the mineral character of the terroir and the aromatic complexity of its aging in wood.
How to take: In the mouth, it reveals a structured wine, silky and very balanced. The elegance of its fine tannins is combined with a balanced acidity and spicy notes, culminating in a long, fresh and persistent mouth finish. It should be served at a temperature between 16°C and 18°C.
Harmonization: Beautifully accompanies grilled or roasted red meats, game birds (such as duck or quail), wild mushroom dishes, rich risotto and cured cheeses of medium intensity.
