Differential: Born from the desire to go beyond convention, No Rules Wines adopted techniques inspired by ancient traditions, choosing to vinify this red wine in clay amphorae. With this distinctive and unconventional approach, the producer celebrates the Dão region by highlighting the ancestral connection between the granite soils and the clay vessels, resulting in a wine of authenticity, purity and character, free from rules and expectations.
Contents: Red wine from the 2022 vintage (13% vol.), crafted from the Tinta Roriz and Touriga Nacional grape varieties. It displays a bright ruby color of medium intensity. The nose is complex and intriguing, revealing aromas of black fruit preserves, cherry, spicy nuances and a distinctive touch of wet earth.
How to take: On the palate, it surprises with its freshness and authenticity. A lively, refreshing acidity is perfectly balanced by firm tannins that provide structure and texture. The wine is engaging and expressive, finishing with a long, persistent and mineral-driven finish.
Harmonization: Excellent with grilled red meats, traditional duck rice, smoked charcuterie boards, light game dishes or aged sheep’s milk cheeses from the Dão region.
